Hotel Riu Dunamar Hotel Costa Mujeres Cancun
Hotel Riu Dunamar Hotel Costa Mujeres Cancun offers the ease of an all-inclusive, the beauty of the Caribbean, along with exciting adventure; all for a family friendly price. Guests are greeted to the lovely arcadia with mango cocktails and receptive smiles; the staff is always friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast at the Isla Mujeres on the resort is a smorgasbord of South American Cuisine, always delightful. Pompeya may take the cake as best restaurant for dinner on the resort, along with having the best service. Las Brasas Steak House is not quite as delectable; my definition of what a ribeye is differs from theirs. Bamboo edibles are not quite edible, everything tastes the same. The food at Kulinarium is good, but my friends and I were hard pressed to receive service after the entrée was delivered, and in fact never did receive dessert. The Sports Bar has fabulous coffee.
The palm trees along the beach provide shade from the blazing equatorial sun while bar staff combs the beach taking orders for refreshment. Vendors tout culturally authentic wares while others paint pictures of incitement by parasailing, snorkeling, cruising to Isla Mujeres, and jetskiing in the crystal blue Caribbean Sea.
Parasailing was the highlight of the trip for me. Flying in the air without a care in the world watching sea turtles swim along beneath me in the vast aqua sea moved me beyond the memory of who I was while I became pure consciousness, totally free of my body and my association to the material world, and of linear time. It was simply life in its most beautiful purest form in those moments being present with nature, reminding me of the energy that I want to experience each and every day.
